Ali Mohammad, Nikhat Banu clinch singles titles at Telangana State-rank table tennis tournament

Ali Mohammad of HDTTA and Reserve Bank of India’s Nikhat Banu won the men’s and women’s singles titles at the Gujarati Seva Mandal Telangana State-rank Table Tennis Tournament. The event featured competitions across senior and junior categories

Hyderabad: Ali Mohammad of HDTTA and Nikhat Banu of Reserve Bank of India won the men’s and women’s singles titles respectively in the Gujarati Seva Mandal Telangana State-rank table tennis tournament at GSM Indoor Hall here on Friday.

Ali Mohammad defeated V. Chandrachud of Gujarati Seva Mandal 11-8, 7-11,11-5,13-11,7-11,11-6 in the men’s final while Nikhat scored a 11-9, 9-11,11-4,11-7,11-7 win against K. Shresta Reddy of GSM in the women’s final.

Mr. Janak Brahmbhatt, secretary GSM, gave away the prizes.
