Both win titles in the 70m singles recurve event of the Senior National archery championship at Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet

Hyderabad: Atanu Das of Petroleum Sports Promotion Board and G. Anandarao Khadake of Maharashtra won the overall individual titles for men and women, respectively, in the 70m singles recurve event of the Senior National archery championship at Hyderabad Public School (Begumpet) here on Wednesday.
The results: Men: Overall: 70m: 1. Atanu Das (PSPB) 684, 2. Tarundeep Rai (Sikkim) 684, 3. Sukchain Singh (SSCB) 682.
Team: 1. Maharashtra 6-2 (Parth Sushant Saunkhe, Sahil Laxman Shelar, Abhyuday Amol Pakhale, Atharva Hanmant Kadam)
Women: Overall: 70m: 1. G. Anandarao Khadake (Maha) 673, 2. Deepika Kumari (PSPB) 668, 3. Madhvi Chauhan (UP) 664.
Team: 1. Maharashtra 53 (Gatha Anandarao Khadake, Sharvari Somnath Shinde, Kumkum Anil Mohod, Vaishnavi Mahesh Kulkarni), 2. Jharkhand 3-5 (Ankita Bharat, Komalika Bari, Surabhi Pal, Khushi Kumari) and UP 5-3 (Madhvi Chauhan, Krishna, Bhawana Singh and Khushi Srivastava).
