A 35-year-old man was hacked to death in full public view at Singareni Colony, Saidabad, Hyderabad, allegedly by a local resident using a machete. Police said the victim had multiple criminal cases against him, but the motive is yet to be established.

Hyderabad: A 35-year-old man was brutally hacked to death in public view in Saidabad on Tuesday.
The incident took place at Singareni Colony, where the victim, identified as Hameer, was allegedly attacked in full public view by a local resident wielding a coconut-cutting machete.
Hameer suffered severe injuries in the assault and was rushed to a nearby private hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Preliminary information suggests that the victim had several criminal cases registered against him in the past. However, police are yet to ascertain whether those cases were linked to the motive behind the killing.
On receiving information, the Saidabad police reached the crime spot along with the CLUES team. A case was booked and an investigation to determine the exact circumstances and motive behind the murder is on.
