HCA forms new committee to boost district infrastructure in Telangana

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) Secretary, Mr. M. Jeevan Reddy, announced the constitution of the District Cricket Infrastructure Development Committee under the guidance of the Single Member Committee, headed by Justice P. Naveen Rao (Retd.).

The Committee has been constituted with the objective of strengthening cricket infrastructure and administration, while promoting the systematic development of the game across the districts of Telangana.


The Committee will be chaired by T. Sheshnarayan, former Secretary of the HCA, whose extensive experience in cricket administration will provide valuable leadership in advancing district-level infrastructure development.

The following members have been appointed to the Committee:

Ramakrishna Udupa – Member, HCA

M. Rajashekar – Representative, Mahbubnagar District

C. Venkat Rao – Representative, Khammam District

M. Venkat Reddy – Representative, Nizamabad District

The District Cricket Infrastructure Development Committee will focus on improving cricket infrastructure and enhancing coordination with district cricket stakeholders. The Committee will work in alignment with the vision of the Single Member Committee to promote transparent, inclusive, and sustainable growth of cricket throughout Telangana.

Furthermore, the Committee shall consult and seek guidance from the Cricket Operations Committee (COC) on matters relating to grounds, pitches, practice facilities, and other infrastructure to ensure all development initiatives align with the technical and operational standards of the HCA.

The detailed Terms of Reference and operational framework of the Committee will be issued separately in due course.
