Telangana Cyber Security Bureau registers case over abusive social media post targeting Shikha Goel

Hyderabad: The Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB) has registered a case after an unidentified person allegedly posted abusive and objectionable content targeting Principal Secretary (Home) and TGCSB Director Shikha Goel on social media platform X.

Officials took serious note of the post, which allegedly used offensive language against the senior woman police officer. A case has been registered under the Information Technology Act and other relevant legal provisions, and an investigation is underway.


TGCSB officials said they have formed special teams to identify and nab the suspects.

They also warned that strict legal action will be taken against those who post abusive, defamatory, or objectionable content on social media platforms.
