Hyderabad: BRS working president and former Industries Minister KT Rama Rao on Saturday complimented TakeMe2Space’s PowerBank-50, which became the first Indian-made satellite battery pack to earn flight heritage. The Hyderabad-based startup was initially nurtured at T Works, which is India’s largest prototyping facility.
Taking to X, the BRS working president said “Happy to learn that Hyderabad-based startup TakeMe2Space’s PowerBank-50 has become the first Indian-made satellite battery pack to earn flight heritage,”
TakeMe2Space announced that its PowerBank-50 satellite battery pack successfully completed its first space mission, earning the coveted “flight heritage” status, he said.
“It flew aboard Skyroot Aerospace’s Vikram-1 mission, becoming the first Indian-made satellite battery pack to achieve this milestone. I am especially glad that TakeMe2Space took its initial shape at @TWorksHyd, India’s largest prototyping facility,” Rama Rao said. He congratulated TakeMe2Space’s founder Ronak Samantray and the entire team for their achievement.
