The Government Railway Police and Railway Protection Force arrested a theft suspect at Secunderabad Railway Station and recovered gold worth Rs 9.45 lakh. The accused allegedly confessed to involvement in nine theft cases and reportedly spent stolen money on betting and alcohol.

Gold worth Rs 9.45 lakh recovered at Secunderabad Railway Station

Hyderabad: The Government Railway Police (GRP), along with the Railway Protection Force (RPF), arrested a theft suspect and recovered gold worth Rs 9.45 lakh at Secunderabad Railway Station on Friday.

The suspect, Limba Rathod, allegedly confessed to involvement in nine theft cases registered at the Secunderabad Railway Police Station.


Police said he targeted train passengers at crowded railway stations and spent the stolen money on online cricket betting and alcohol.
