The Sashastra Seema Bal emerged as the overall champions at the All India Police Judo Cluster Games in Hyderabad. The event featured 36 teams from State police forces and Central Armed Police Forces competing across multiple martial arts disciplines.

Hyderabad: Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) emerged overall champions with 24 gold, 20 silver and 23 bronze medals in the All India Police Judo cluster games at the GMC Balayogi Stadium here on Thursday.
CISF finished runner-up with 25 gold, 16 silver and 25 bronze medals while the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) was third with 10 gold, 21
silver and 26 bronze medals.
In judo, SSB was the winner while BSF and Uttar Pradesh Police was second and third respectively, in wushu, SSB reigned supreme while
CRPF and ITBP were second and third respectively.
In taekwondo (men), CISF was the champion while BSF and UP Police were second and third respectively and in women’s section, UP Police, CISF and Assam Rifles finished in that order.
In pencak silat, CISF, SSB and Maharashtra and in karate Assam Rifles, ITBP and CISF finished in that order.
Mr. CV Anand, DGP of Telangana and chief guest, lauded the successful conduct of the championship, which brought together 36 teams
representing State Police forces and Central Armed Police Forces from across the country..
Mr Anand said Telangana Police would be hosting All India Police competitions in Hyderabad over the coming two years. He said that
India, under the vision of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was emerging as a global sporting powerhouse, and appealed to police personnel to make sport and fitness a daily habit, stating that a physically and mentally fit officer serves the nation better.
Mr. Vijay Prakash, IPS, ADG/HQrs, CISF, thanked the AIPSCB officials, Government of Telangana and the Public Sector Undertakings including Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) and Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), for the successful conduct of the event.
Mr. Sambandan S. IPS, (representing DIB), commended the exemplary conduct of the championship while celebrating the growing athletic
excellence within uniformed services. Special mention was made of the 11 police personnel who represented India at the Paris Olympics.
It was also announced that India would host the 2029 World Police and Fire Games in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, further strengthening the sporting legacy of the nation’s security forces.
