Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao flayed Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for terming engineering graduates in Telangana as “criminal waste” and demanded that he withdraw the remark and apologise to the State’s youth.
In a post on X, Rama Rao questioned the Chief Minister’s qualification to comment on the abilities of young engineers. “Did he ever write any competitive exam, appear for a job interview or work in a professional environment in his entire life?” he asked.
The BRS working president alleged that Revanth Reddy, who was a real estate broker, became a blackmailer and hustled his way into the Chief Minister’s post in the Congress party.
He said Telangana’s youth were earning global recognition for their skills and contributions, and that insulting them reflected the Chief Minister’s arrogance.
