Israeli Premier Benjamin Netanyahu made his seventh visit to the White House during President Donald Trump’s second term. Still, it’s just their first meeting in Washington since they launched their failing 40-day war against Iran.
It has been a disaster for ordinary people, not just Americans, but people have to think about the cutoff of fuel, fertilizer.
There’s a lot of planting that’s not going on in the world right now, which is going to lead to people dying of hunger.

The past five months of war have seen Washington, Israel, and the entire world shocked by Iran’s unprecedented counterattacks, superior technology, and the solidity of the grassroots institutions inspired by the popular 1979 Islamic Revolution.
I think, you know, regardless of your political or religion [sic] views, if you like Iran, if you love Iran, the soldiers are people that are defending against this war.
So you ask me if I’m proud or if I’m for them, of course.
Any country that being attacked [sic] you have to be behind the flag and you have to be with the army.
So let them do the job, and all we can do here in the US is to let them know that we’re against this war.

A new poll by The Economist not only reveals just how anti-Israel the average American has become, but also how divorced public policy is from public opinion; 49% of the country wants the US to arrest Netanyahu, with only 27% saying they should not arrest him.
I think it’s a testament to the recognition of Israel’s genocide and how it acts in many ways as a parasite on the US.
Of course, we see how Israel and the US are co-waging genocide in the region.
At the same time, they recognize that US support for Israel is diverting money away from healthcare, housing, groceries and education.

The most unpopular war in American history has cost both war partners dearly. Trump’s America First base, Netanyahu’s chances at re-election, the support for the Zionist imperial project among the US public, the long battle against inflation in the US, a stable economic outlook, and any presumption of America’s military supremacy.
For decades, Netanyahu has pushed war, imperialism, and chaos across the Middle East.
And at his closed-door, low-fanfare meeting with Trump, it’s expected that he pushed the president to ignore their obvious military failure and to continue their disastrous war against Iran.
