Hyderabad: Telangana scored a second consecutive win when it defeated Gujarat 3-1 in the Sub-junior national hockey championship at Coimbatore on Wednesday.
Forward Ravula Ganesh scored two field goals and Piyush converted a penalty-corner to complete the tally for the winner.
Ganesh was named ‘player of the match;. Telangana will take on Puducherry on July 31 after a rest day on Thursday. The result: Telangana 3 (R. Ganesh 2, Piyush ) bt Gujarat 1.
