The Health Ministry in Gaza said 63,000 others have been injured in the offensive since Oct. 7, Anadolu Agency reported.
“Many people are still trapped under rubble as rescuers are unable to reach them,” it added.
According to the UN, around 85% of Gazans have been displaced by the Israeli onslaught, while all of them are food insecure.
Hundreds of thousands of people are living without shelter, and less than half of aid trucks are entering the territory than before the start of the conflict.
Israel began its military aggression against Gaza on October 7, 2023, following Operation al-Aqsa Storm by the enclave’s Resistance movements. More than 25,105 Palestinians, mostly women and children, have been killed in the Israeli military onslaught so far, while over 62,680 others have been injured.
