Siddipet: An inmate of the Siddipet District Jail escaped from police custody at the Government General Hospital in Siddipet on Saturday.
Jail authorities had sent seven inmates to the hospital for a regular health check-up when Sai Kumar, an accused in a bike-lifting case, escaped from the premises.
The incident has left police and jail authorities shocked, and a manhunt has been launched to trace the accused.
