Hyderabad-based fintech startup VIYONA has received BBPS approval to operate as a Customer Operating Unit, enabling it to offer digital bill payment services across multiple categories. The certification also allows banks, NBFCs and enterprises to integrate secure payment solutions through its platform.

Hyderabad: Hyderabad-based VIYONA, a fintech infrastructure startup building digital payment solutions for banks, financial institutions, enterprises, and government organisations, has received approval from the Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS) to operate as a customer operating unit (COU).
This certification enables VIYONA to offer BBPS-powered bill payment services across multiple categories, including electricity, water, gas, broadband, mobile recharges, DTH subscriptions, insurance premiums, loan EMIs, educational fees, and other approved bill payments.
Furthermore, it allows banks, NBFCs, fintech companies, enterprises, and government organisations to leverage VIYONA’s platform to integrate bill payment services and deliver secure payment experiences to their customers.
