Adilabad: Residents performed Ksheerabhisekam to a flex poster of BRS Working President KT Rama Rao to mark his birthday at Mukhra (K) village in Echoda mandal on Thursday.
Men and women from the village gathered at a junction and celebrated Rama Rao’s birthday by performing the ritual. They recalled that Rama Rao had strived for the welfare of women. They also said he had helped Hyderabad emerge as a leading IT hub in the country by introducing industry-friendly policies.
The residents said that several initiatives, including We Hub, SHE Teams, KCR Kits, Nutrition Kits and Amma Odi, were introduced by the previous BRS government. They regretted that all these initiatives had been discontinued after the Congress came to power. They said only the return of former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao to power would protect the State.
