The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said it had carried out attacks on US military assets in Kuwait and Jordan, noting that targeting bases used in operations against Iran was its “legal, religious and logical right.”
In two separate statements addressed to the people of Kuwait and Jordan, the IRGC said the operations were conducted in retaliation for repeated US aggression against Iran.
The IRGC said its forces struck the Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait, destroying a Patriot air defense system, a large military equipment depot and an MQ-9 drone hangar. It also said drone attacks targeted US troop quarters and two helicopter hangars at Camp Udairi, causing casualties and damaging several helicopters and drones.
In Jordan, the IRGC said it destroyed a THAAD missile defense radar, a Patriot system and a C-RAM radar at a US base. It also said that the precision attacks have set fuel storage facilities, a helicopter equipment warehouse and a helicopter maintenance hangar on fire.
