Hyderabad SIR digitisation crosses 40%; Chandrayangutta leads, Musheerabad lags

Digitisation under the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls has reached 40.15 per cent across Hyderabad’s 15 Assembly constituencies. Chandrayangutta leads the process, while Musheerabad trails. More than 2.35 lakh Absent, Shifted or Dead electors have also been identified.

Hyderabad: The digitisation of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls picked up in all 15 assembly constituencies in Hyderabad district, with Chandrayangutta continuing to top the digitisation of enumeration forms.

The latest status report as of Monday morning from the District Election Office, Hyderabad, indicated the pace was picking up in the district.


While Chandrayangutta assembly constituency was at the forefront in terms of digitisation, Musheerabad assembly constituency lagged behind other assembly constituencies in digitisation, with 35.44% digitisation completed. Secunderabad Cantonment, which registered a low percentage until last week, has now picked up in digitisation.

Sources in the GHMC told ‘Telangana Today’ that, as of now, digitisation of enumeration forms had been completed for 18,99,895 electors out of 47,39,669 electors across 15 assembly constituencies, with overall digitisation in Hyderabad district reaching 40.15%.

Meanwhile, the Absent, Shifted, or Dead (ASD) electors, across all 15 assembly constituencies, were identified as 2,35,441 electors after the completion of the distribution of enumeration forms.

Yakutpura assembly constituency stood at the top with 33,864 ASD electors, while Amberpet registered a low of 5,872 ASD electors, who have still not collected the enumeration forms.

Regarding online, the officials said that so far, the Booth Level Officers (BLOs) have received 4,44,932 enumeration forms, of which 4,22,922 enumeration forms have been verified.
