Hyderabad: The three-day World Mithai & Namkeen Convention (WMNC) Purchasing 2026 commenced at the HITEX Exhibition Centre, marking the beginning of one of largest business gatherings for the mithai, namkeen, bakery and allied food industries.
The convention brought together manufacturers, retailers, distributors, suppliers, technology providers and industry leaders from across the country under one roof. The event covers the entire supply chain, from raw materials and dry fruits and nuts to ingredients, flavours, food processing machinery, packaging equipment and materials, gifting solutions, automation technologies, and business services.
The event features discussions focussing on raw material procurement, dry fruit sourcing, packaging innovations, shelf-life enhancement, bakery-mithai convergence, premiumisation, modern retail opportunities, logistics and last-mile delivery solutions. Spread across more than 300 exhibition stalls, the convention is expected to welcome over 30,000 business visitors through free registration.
