A 62-year-old retired Commercial Taxes Department employee allegedly died by suicide after jumping from the seventh floor of Mayur Kushal Complex on Abid Road in Hyderabad. Police have launched an investigation to ascertain the circumstances and reasons behind the incident.

Hyderabad: A 62-year-old retired Commercial Taxes Department employee died by suicide after allegedly jumping from the seventh floor of Mayur Kushal Complex on Abid Road on Friday.
The victim was identified as Babu, a resident of Dabeerpura, who had retired from service about three years ago.
As per the information available, he had come to the multi-storeyed commercial building around noon. It is still unclear whether he had come on some work or with the intention of ending his life.
On receiving information, the Abid Road police rushed to the spot and took up the investigation. The probe is on to ascertain the circumstances and reasons behind the suicide.
