Former India captain Anil Kumble had a close encounter with a couple of tigers during his recent visit to the Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve in Maharashtra. The legenday spinner captured a video of a tiger ‘through his lens’, which he shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter). In the video, Kumble seemed to be sitting on the back seat of a jeep, with two other guys capturing the nature through their camera lens. The driver of the jeep was seen reversing the vehicle after spotting two tigers on the narrow path inside the Tiger Reserve.
“Through the lens,” Kumble captioned the video.

Kumble finished his cricket career with 619 Test wickets and 337 ODI wickets. His tally of 619 Test wickets is the most by an Indian bowler.
The spinner also took ten wickets in an innings against Pakistan in 1999 and as a result, he became only the second cricketer in history after Jim Laker to take all ten wickets in an innings of a Test match.
Kumble also coached the Indian cricket team for a brief period of time. Under him, India won a Test series against the West Indies, New Zealand, England, and Bangladesh.
In 2015, he was inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame.
Meanwhile, Team India are currently squaring off against Afghanistan in a three-match T20I series.
The Rohit Sharma-led side won the first game by six wickets in Mohali on Thursday.
The second match will be played in Indore on Sunday, with star batter Virat Kohli set to make his return to the T20I side after a 14-month hiatus.
