Shabad police are probing the motive behind a multiple murder case in which Rajkumar allegedly killed his wife Saritha and two children after murdering a minor girl, her mother and grandmother. The investigators are examining his recorded video and family disputes to establish the sequence of events.

Hyderabad: The shocking multiple murder case in Shabad continues to raise several unanswered questions, with the police yet to get clarity on why the suspect, Rajkumar, allegedly killed his wife and two children before dying by suicide.
According to the investigating officials, Rajkumar allegedly murdered the minor girl, her mother and grandmother after a POCSO case was registered against him. He then returned home and allegedly killed his wife Saritha and their two children before taking his own life.
Police said the selfie video recorded by Rajkumar before his death primarily referred to the POCSO case and the minor girl’s family. While he stated that he had decided to kill his wife and children, he did not explain the reason behind targeting them, leaving investigators searching for a clear motive.
Investigations so far suggested that Rajkumar had allegedly been harassing the minor for nearly a year. It was also found that frequent arguments erupted between the couple after his wife Saritha confronted him over his behaviour. The disputes reportedly intensified after the POCSO case was registered at Shabad police station.
Police sources said Saritha had planned to convene a village elders’ meeting to resolve the issue, but Rajkumar had gone into hiding following the case. After securing anticipatory bail, he returned to the village, where fresh disputes allegedly broke out after he reportedly insisted that he would marry the minor.
Fearing for her family’s safety, Saritha had sent their elder son to stay with relatives in Moinabad. Rajkumar later brought the child back home, assuring the family that he had changed. However, within days, the family was murdered.
Officials suspect Saritha may have been targeted because she consistently opposed Rajkumar’s actions. However, they believe there may have been a stronger motive behind the killing of the children, which is under investigation.
Meanwhile, police are continuing to examine all available evidence to establish the complete sequence of events and the motive behind the brutal killings.
