Hyderabad: Justice B Vijaysen Reddy of the Telangana High Court on Tuesday directed that a writ petition filed by Pradeep Constructions, challenging a show cause notice issued by the GHMC proposing cancellation of its building permission for a multi-storeyed residential project at Somajiguda, be placed before the appropriate Bench having roster jurisdiction.
The petitioner questioned the GHMC’s show cause notice dated July 7, 2026, issued under Section 450 of the GHMC Act, contending that the authorities were seeking to cancel the building permission on the basis of an unnotified draft Full Tank Level (FTL) map of Hussain Sagar and disputed title claims.
The developer also sought protection against any coercive action, including cancellation of permission, demolition, or interference with its application for an occupancy certificate. Upon the matter being taken up, Justice B Vijaysen Reddy directed the Registry to list the writ petition before the appropriate Bench in accordance with the roster for further consideration.
