Attapur Police arrested five persons and booked two others in connection with the alleged possession and sale of narcotic substances. MDMA, Mephentermine Sulphate injections, Alprazolam tablets and syringes were seized, while efforts continue to apprehend the absconding accused.

Hyderabad: The Attapur Police arrested five persons and booked two others, including the alleged supplier, for illegal possession and sale of narcotic substances on Thursday.
Officials seized 6.65 grams of MDMA, Mephentermine Sulphate injections, Alprazolam tablets, syringes and other material.
The arrested persons were identified as Syed Abul Hassan, Saif Ali Mirza, Ahmed Hussain, Shaik Ayub and Mir Shabbir Ali. Two others Baquar and Mujahid alias Mujju are absconding.
Police said the suspects were allegedly procuring drugs from the absconding supplier and selling them to consumers for profit.
A case has been registered under the NDPS Act, and efforts are on to nab the absconding suspects.
