A 38-year-old nurse was allegedly murdered by her husband in Uppal following disputes over suspected infidelity. Police said the accused attacked her with a blunt object and fled the spot. A manhunt is underway while investigation continues from all angles.

Hyderabad: A 38-year-old nurse was allegedly murdered by her husband, who reportedly suspected her fidelity, at their residence in Adarsh Nagar, Chilkanagar in Uppal on Saturday.
According to police, P Jessica (38) worked as a nurse at a hospital in Tarnaka, while her husband, P Suresh (41), was employed as a cab supervisor in Safilguda. The couple, married since 2015, has a nine-year-old daughter.
Police said Suresh had allegedly been suspecting Jessica’s character for some time, leading to frequent quarrels between the couple. Based on a complaint lodged by the victim’s relative, Suresh allegedly attacked and killed Jessica with a blunt object at their home before fleeing the spot.
On receiving information, Uppal police rushed to the spot and collected evidence. Efforts are on to trace the absconding suspect.
Police said the investigation is on from all possible angles.
