Telangana to hold apprenticeship-cum-job mela 2026 at five junior colleges

The Intermediate Education Department, in collaboration with RDSDE, will organise the Apprenticeship-cum-Job Mela 2026 at five junior colleges across Telangana from July 6 to 14. Eligible vocational students and freshers can attend interviews, receive career guidance and apply for apprenticeship opportunities.

Telangana to hold apprenticeship-cum-job mela 2026 at five junior colleges

Hyderabad: The Intermediate Education department, in collaboration with the Regional Directorate of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (RDSDE), will organise the apprenticeship-cum-job mela-2026 from July 6 to 14 at five Junior Colleges across the State.

Candidates attending the mela will get access to on-the-spot interviews, career guidance from experts, and multiple job roles across paramedical and non-paramedical streams. Selected candidates for apprenticeship training will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 9,600.


On July 6 and 7, the mela will be held at SKPM Government Vocational Junior College, Quthbullapur, and Kasturba Gandhi Junior College, Maredpally, Secunderabad, respectively. It will then be held at Government Vocational Junior College, Hanamkonda, on July 13. Further, the Government Vocational Junior Colleges in Mahabubnagar and Nalgonda will host the mela for paramedical streams in the forenoon and non-paramedical streams in the afternoon on July 14.

The initiative is open to vocational students from the 2023–2026 batches, job seekers, and freshers who passed IPE March / IPASE June 2026 or in the last three academic years. Only candidates who have not undergone or completed apprenticeship training earlier are eligible. Eligible candidates have been advised to carry two copies of their resume, educational certificates, and Aadhaar card.
