Hyderabad: Bhimavaram Bulls scored a 10-wicket win against Simhadri Vizag Lions in the final of the Andrha Premier League T-20 cricket championship at ACA Mangalagiri International Cricket Stadium (Vijayawada).

Batting first, Vizag Lions was restricted to 139 for eight in 20 overs with T. Vijay (39 n.o., 25, 2×4, 2×6) being the top-scorer. CH Raviteja (three for 22) was the pick of the bowlers.


In reply, Bulls reached the target without losing a wicket in the ninth over with K. Revanth Reddy (71 n.o., 33b, 10×4, 3×6) and M. Hemanth Reddy (59 n.o., 23b, 6×4, 4×6) batting with authority.

Andhra Pradesh Minister for IT Nara Lokesh gave away the prizes.

The scores: Simhadri Vizag Lions 139/8 in 20 overs (T. Vijay 39 n.o., C.H. Raviteja 3/22) lost to Bhimavaram Bulls 140/0 in 9 overs (K. Revanth Reddy 71 n.o., M. Hemanth Reddy 59 n.o.). Player of the match: CH Raviteja.
