Hyderabad: A couple died by suicide by falling in front of a speeding train near Ghatkesar railway station on Thursday night.
The victims were identified as Ravikumar and Sirisha, residents of Papayyapet village in Chennaraopet mandal of Warangal district.
According to the police, the couple is suspected to have died by suicide allegedly due to family problems. They are believed to have ended their lives by falling under a moving train. The exact circumstances leading to the incident are yet to be established.
On receiving information, the Government Railway Police, Secunderabad rushed to the spot, conducted a preliminary examination and shifted the bodies to the g hospital for autopsy.
Railway police are yet to ascertain the reasons behind the incident. Officials said further details are expected to emerge after the inquiry is completed.
