Hyderabad: Panic gripped customers at a pub in the Knowledge City area of Raidurgam after a late night argument escalated into violence, with one of the men allegedly brandishing a firearm.
According to information available, the incident occurred on Sunday, after a dispute broke out between two groups over a minor issue. As the argument intensified, one of the men reportedly pulled out a gun and threatened those involved, triggering panic among customers, who rushed out of the pub for safety.
The suspect and his associate allegedly went on a rampage inside the establishment, damaging liquor bottles and overturning tables before leaving the spot.
On receiving information from the management, the Raidurgam police reached the pub, inspected the spot and took up investigation.
Efforts are on to identify the persons involved and ascertain whether the firearm used was licenced.
