Hyderabad: Simhadri Vizag Lions scored a 21-run win against Tungabhadra Warriors in the Andhra Premier League T-20 cricket championship at the ACA International Stadium in Mangalagiri on Saturday.
Batting first, Vizag Lions scored 161 in 20 overs with H. HImakar (52, 30b, 5×4, 4×6) being the top-scorer.
In reply, Warriors was restricted to 140 for eight in 20 overs with G. Rohit (60 n.o., 39b, 4×4, 4×6) and Saurabh Kumar (34, 40b, 4×4) batting well but in vain.
For the winners, ‘player of the match’ SMD Kamil (three for seven) bowled well.
