Sangareddy: Lightning struck a cattle rearer at Ishrithabad village in Sadasivapet mandal, leading to his instant death. His three-year-old nephew, who was walking close by, escaped with minor injuries.
According to locals, Anil (23), a resident of Venkatapur, was grazing cattle close to a lake at Ishrithabad on Thursday when the village witnessed rains coupled with thunderstorms. When lightning struck him, Anil died on the spot. His nephew escaped with minor injuries. The police have registered a case.
