Hyderabad: The Mokila police busted an inter-state drug smuggling racket and arrested five persons with 10 kg of marijuana in Mirzaguda on Friday.
Following a tip-off, the police nabbed the gang which procured marijuana from local drug peddlers based in the forest area in Odisha at low prices and supplied to labour colonies and other areas on the city outskirts.
According to police, the group was working as an organised network to distribute the contraband. The case is under investigation.
