Hyderabad: Hyatt Place Hyderabad Banjara Hills is set to present “Kerala Beyond Malabar”, a specially curated culinary festival celebrating the diverse flavours of Kerala, from June 19 to 28 at its Gallery Café.
The food festival aims to take guests beyond the familiar tastes of Malabar cuisine and introduce them to authentic delicacies from Central Kerala and the Travancore region. Through a thoughtfully designed buffet, the hotel seeks to bring communities together by showcasing the rich culinary traditions and cultural heritage of the southern state.
Adding authenticity to the experience, the menu has been curated in collaboration with a visiting chef from Hyatt Regency Thrissur. Drawing on traditional recipes and regional cooking techniques, the chef has crafted a menu that reflects Kerala’s culinary identity through balanced flavours, aromatic spices and time-honoured preparations.
Guests can savour a range of signature dishes featuring coconut-based curries, coastal specialities, traditional rice preparations and classic accompaniments from different regions of Kerala. The festival aims to offer diners not only a gastronomic experience but also an insight into the state’s cultural traditions.
Hyatt Place Hyderabad Banjara Hills said such culinary initiatives form part of its ongoing commitment to creating immersive and authentic experiences for guests while promoting India’s diverse regional cuisines.
