Iranian president Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi made the remarks in a telephone conversation with the President of Pakistan Arif Alvi on Wednesday.
Pointing to the great capacities of Iran and Pakistan to expand cooperation, especially in the fields of energy, Raeisi expressed hope that the authorities of the two countries would work more seriously to actualize these capacities.
He also emphasized the need for Pakistan to make more efforts to improve border security.
In this telephone conversation, the President of Pakistan pointed to the position of the Leadership of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the field of supporting and defending the rights of the oppressed people of Palestine, and he expressed appreciation for the efforts of Iran in this matter.
The concerted and joint effort and action of the Islamic countries can put additional pressure on the Zionists to stop their crimes in Gaza.
The President of Pakistan confirmed the opinion of President Raeisi about the inability of international organizations, including the UN Security Council, to defend the rights of the Palestinian people and stop the crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza, and said, “We should look for a serious change in the structure of international organizations and Muslims should be pioneers in this field.
