A 39-year-old outsourcing data entry operator working at the Ranga Reddy District Collector’s office allegedly died by suicide at his residence in Turkayamjal. Police registered an abetment of suicide case against a loan inspector based on allegations made by the victim’s family.

Hyderabad: A data entry operator working at the Ranga Reddy District Collector’s office allegedly died by suicide due to the harassment of a loan inspector on Monday night at Turkayamjal in Adibatla.
The deceased, V Sridhar Babu (39), was working as an outsourcing data entry operator at the Ranga Reddy District Collector’s office located at Kongara Kalan village.
On Monday, at around 4 pm, Sridhar Babu left the office on some work and returned home.
“In the evening, a person identified as Srinivas Naidu, who works as a loan inspector, called Sridhar Babu over the phone and spoke to him. A few minutes after disconnecting the call, Sridhar Babu went into a room and hanged himself. The family members alleged that Sridhar died by suicide due to the harassment by Srinivas Naidu,” said an official from the Adibatla police station.
Based on a complaint lodged by a relative of Sridhar Babu, the police registered a case of abetment of suicide against Srinivas Naidu and are investigating.
