Two construction workers from Jharkhand died after an Etichi loader carrying diesel barrels fell into a quarry at Pillaipally village in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district. One died on the spot while the other succumbed to injuries during treatment in Hyderabad.

Hyderabad: Two construction workers were killed when an Etichi loader fell in a big quarry at Pillaipally village of Pochampally in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district on Tuesday morning.
According to the police, the victims, Nirajan (21) and Satish Kumar (22), both natives of Jharkhand, were transporting diesel barrels to a stone crushing unit when the vehicle overturned and fell in the quarry.
“Nirajan died on the spot while Satish died on the way to hospital in Hyderabad due to injuries,” said Pochampally sub-inspector K Bhaskar Reddy.
The police registered a case and are investigating. The bodies were shifted to Osmania General Hospital mortuary for postmortem.
