Adilabad: In separate incidents, seven persons died of sunstroke in different parts of the erstwhile Adilabad district between Monday and Tuesday.
Reports said that Thalandi Narayana (61) and Thalandi Chandraiah (52), both from Penchikalpet mandal, fell unconscious. Narayana was immediately shifted to a hospital. He breathed his last while undergoing treatment. Chandraiah died while being shifted to a hospital.
On Monday, Thogati Ashok (45), a centering worker from Asnad, Sidam Venkatesh (33), a daily wage earner from Narsingapur in Bheemaram mandal, Barla Buchaiah (70), a mentally unsound man from Kothur, Bonagiri Lasmanna (70), a farm labourer, and Yata Indaiah (60), a building construction worker, died of sunstroke.
