A formal swearing in ceremony with a couple of leaders is likely to take place at Raj Bhavan on Monday

Hyderabad: A Telangana Congress team led by TPCC president A Revanth Reddy will meet Governor Tamilisai Soundarajan at Raj Bhavan shortly.
A formal swearing in ceremony with a couple of leaders is likely to take place at Raj Bhavan on Monday. To this effect, a special meeting of the Congress is scheduled at a private hotel in Gachibowli from 10 pm.
Already, invitations have been extended to leaders and all Congress candidates to reach the hotel in Gachibowli. “Yes, we got invitations but the agenda is not disclosed. We are hoping that there will be a formal swearing in ceremony on Monday,” a senior leader said.
Earlier in the day, the Congress had booked many rooms at hotel Taj Krishna. However in the last minute development, the venue was changed to another hotel in Gachibowli.
According to party sources, there were instructions from AICC to convene a meeting late on Sunday night. Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shiva Kumar is also likely to participate in the meeting in which the new CLP leader is expected to be elected by the Congress MLAs.
During the meeting, there was a possibility of selecting the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister candidates.
The Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister had offered sweets to TPCC president A Revanth Reddy at Gandhi Bhavan and congratulated him on the party’s victory in the elections.
