Sangareddy: A woman died and 18 others sustained serious injuries after an SUV hit a road divider on NH-161 near Nizampet on Sunday night.
The passengers, residents of Megha Nayak Thanda, were on their way to a dargah in Karnataka. They met with the accident just 15 minutes after beginning their journey. As 12 of them sustained serious injuries, locals shifted them to Hyderabad after providing first aid. Mali Bai (65) died while being shifted to Hyderabad. The condition of 11 injured persons is said to be critical. Police registered a case.
