Constable killed on the spot as car crashes into bike in Asifabad

Head constable Jadi Babu of Rebbena police station died in a road accident at Pulikunta village in Kumram Bheem Asifabad district after a car hit his motorcycle. Police suspect rash and negligent driving by the car driver and registered a case

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: A head constable was killed on the spot after a car hit his two-wheeler at Pulikunta village on Monday.

Police said head constable Jadi Babu (59) sustained serious injuries when the car crashed into his motorcycle, resulting in his death on the spot. He was proceeding to a police checkpost at the time of the incident. He was attached to the Rebbena police station.

Babu had joined the police department in 1993. He is survived by his wife, two daughters and a son. Rash and negligent driving by the car driver is suspected to have caused the accident. A case was registered against Sajja Srinivas, the driver of the car from Mancherial. Investigation is on.
