Family members of a 22-year-old man staged a protest at Algunur Chowk in Karimnagar, demanding clarity into his suspicious death. Traffic was disrupted on key routes before police intervened and assured an inquiry, after which the protest was withdrawn.

Karimnagar: Residents of Sadasivpalli, relatives and family members of Jasthi Srinidh (22), who died under suspicious circumstance on Sunday, staged protest at Algunur chowk on Monday, demanding the police to reveal the facts behind his death.
Vehicular traffic in Hyderabad and Warangal routes came to standstill as protestors squatted on the road. They wanted the police to identify the people responsible for the death of Srinidh and take severe action.
Police rushed to the spot and convinced the agitating people to withdraw their protest. With clear assurance from the police, they withdrew their protest.
A native of Sadasivpalli of Manakondur mandal, Srinidh was found hanging under suspicious circumstances near Ramakrishna colony of Thimmapur mandal on Sunday.
