Young players shine at 9th PICA children’s chess tournament in Hyderabad

Young chess players from different age categories emerged victorious at the 9th PICA children’s prize money chess tournament organised in Hyderabad. Winners in Under-8, Under-10, Under-12 and Under-14 categories showcased strong performances at the event held in KPHB

Hyderabad: Bairi Devansh Reddy (Under-8), Ishaan Sathiraju (Under-10), Sai Sathvik Jayampu (Under-12) and Abhiram Singamsetti (Under-14) won the 9th PICA children’s prize money chess tournament organised by Pratyusha International Chess Academy (PICA) at Vaarahi Banquets, KPHB, Hyderabad.

Boys: Under-8: 1. Bairi Devansh Reddy, 2. K Bhuvan, 3. Advith Anishetty, 4. Devansh Pallagani, 5. Hitansh Venam.

Under-10: 1. Ishaan Sathiraju, 2. M Bhavyesh Balaji Reddy, 3. Vedansh Sukhavasi, 4. K Jathin Reddy, 5. Nirvaan Channa.

Under-12: 1. Sai Sathvik Jayampu, 2. Prathul Mareddy, 3. R Shreyansh Reddy, 4. Daiwik Sahoo, 5. M Aakash Bhargav Reddy.
