Hyderabad: The GHMC commissioner and also Principal Census Officer, R V Karnan on Friday visited Shamshabad to check the Census House Listing Operation.
A press release said the Commissioner along with officials conducted an inspection of the ongoing Census House Listing Operation at Enumeration Block No.83 and 94 in Shamshabad and reviewed field-level implementation and ensure accurate data collection.
During the visit, he interacted with enumerators and supervising staff, examined the procedures being followed and directed officials to complete the process by June 9.
Karnan instructed field staff to ensure that every household was covered without omission and requested citizens to cooperate by providing information. He directed the Deputy Commissioners to cooperate with the census staff and assign the concern field level officers, bill collectors and tax inspectors, it said.
