Mancherial: A farmer was electrocuted while ironing clothes at Jakkapalli village in Vemanapalli mandal on Saturday.
Police said that the deceased person was identified as Pirisingula Kamalakar (44) from Jakkapalli.
Kamalakar fell unconscious when he touched the iron box through which electricity was passing due to suspected faulty wiring at his home. He was shifted to a hospital in Bellampalli. Doctors declared that he was brought dead. Further details are awaited.
