Hyderabad: Rishitha Reddy Basireddy has made a commanding start to her women’s circuit career by clinching two consecutive women’s AITA Rs 1 lakh titles in Belagavi.

The 18-year-old Rishitha defeated Diya Vivekanandan in the final 6-2, 6-0 after getting the better of Kartika Padmakumar 6-4, 6-2 in the semifinal.


In the other tournament, Rishitha outslugged Vennela Reddy Gaarugupati 6-2, 6-0 in the final after a 6-1, 6-1 victory against Ayushi Tanwar in the semifinal.

According to her support staff, Rishitha displayed exceptional consistency and dominance in both tournaments without dropping a single set, underlining her strong transition into the women’s category.

“Rishitha’s confident gameplay, composure under pressure and ability to control matches were key highlights across both weeks. This achievement marks a powerful start to her journey in women’s tennis and establishes her as a promising emerging talent,” they said.
