Hyderabad CRPF head constable dies under suspicious circumstances in Shopian

Hyderabad: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel from Hyderabad died under suspicious circumstances while on duty in Shopian district in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday night.

The officer, identified as head constable Surinder Singh, a native of Shalibanda in Hyderabad, reportedly fell unconscious late Tuesday night at the CRPF camp in Zainapora.


Fellow personnel rushed him to the nearby Community Health Centre, but doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.

The local police are investigating and CRPF authorities have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated an inquiry to determine the exact cause of death.
