GHMC has opened help desks across circle offices to assist citizens with LRS-2020 applications. The government has extended the payment deadline till July 31, 2026, offering a 25% rebate on fees to encourage plot regularisation.

Hyderabad: The GHMC has set up help desks in all circle offices to assist citizens in availing the Layout Regularisation Scheme (LRS)-2020, according to an official release on Saturday.
The Special Chief Secretary, Hyderabad Metropolitan Area (HMA) and Urban Development, Jayesh Ranjan, extended the period for payment of LRS fee and charges with a rebate of 25% for three months, from 01/05/2026 to 31/07/2026.
GHMC Commissioner R V Karnan said, based on the instructions of Special Chief Secretary, MA and UD, help desks were set up at circle offices of GHMC and started working from Saturday.
The call centres and help desks will work from 10 am to 6 pm, on all working days, to assist citizens and the citizens of GHMC limits area have to reach out to them for any kind of clarifications or guidance on LRS-2020 applications and shall also avail the opportunity of 25% rebate on LRS fees and get the plot regularised as per eligibility under LRS-2020, it said.
