Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka assured employee unions that the government is addressing long-pending demands including PRC, DA and health cards. He announced steps to clear ₹6,000 crore pension dues within 100 days and expedite pending bill payments

Bhatti Vikramarka assures swift action on PRC, DA and health cards

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka reiterated that the State was working with sincerity to resolve the issues faced by employees in the State. He held a meeting with leaders of various employee unions here on Friday.

During the meeting, union leaders mainly raised long-pending issues such as PRC (Pay Revision Commission), DA (Dearness Allowance), and health cards.


Regarding the second PRC implementation, the Deputy Chief Minister stated that the report from the committee chaired by Shivashankar would be immediately obtained and examined. TGEJAC representatives would be invited for a fresh round of discussions to facilitate a swift decision, he assured, the TGEJAC said in a statement.

He also indicated that the five pending Dearness Allowance (DA) installments would be merged into the second PRC settlement.

Regarding the pending bills, the Deputy Chief Minister announced that the outstanding dues of pensioners, totaling Rs 6,000 crore, would be fully cleared as a lump sum within 100 days, the TGEJAC leaders stated.

He further stated that the payment of pending bills for employees would continue at a rate of Rs.1,000 crores per month.

The Deputy Chief Minister said that all these matters would be discussed comprehensively in the Cabinet Sub-Committee and that a decision would be conveyed to employees soon.
