Burglars decamp with valuables worth lakhs from house in Medipally’s Chengicherla

Burglars broke into a house in Medipally’s Chengicherla and escaped with gold, silver, cash, and electronics worth several lakhs. The owner, who had travelled to his hometown, returned to find the house ransacked. Police have launched an investigation.

Hyderabad: Burglars targeted a house and decamped with valuables worth in lakhs at Chengicherla in Medipally on suburbs.

The house owner, P Karthik Kumar, a native of Gudur, was staying in a rented house in Chengicherla. On April 25, he left for his hometown along with his mother. The next day around afternoon, neighbours alerted him that his house was burgled.


He rushed back to find the house broken into and valuables missing.

The stolen items include about 5 grams of gold, nearly 20 tolas of silver, a television set, and Rs 20,000 in cash.

Based on his complaint, the Medipally police have booked a case and investigating.
