Hyderabad: Ayushi Prajapati of Hyderabad topped the 63 kg category in the Telangana State powerlifting championship to qualify for the National sub-junior and junior men and women competitions to be held at Amalapuram in Konaseema district next month.
The 18-year-old Ayushi will be competing in the junior category at the national level for the first time.
She has been training at Actin Fitness Centre in Durganagar and has been working hard for these competitions for some time now.
Ayushi said her goal is to win a medal for the country at the international level.
