Hyderabad: The Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree & Junior Colleges Physical Directors (PDs) and Physical Education Teachers (PETs) on Sunday urged the State government to grant them long-pending promotions as principals by placing the matter in the upcoming TGSWREIS third board of governors meeting.
The Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree & Junior Colleges Physical Directors (PDs) and Physical Education Teachers (PETs) Association chairman Dr Rama Laxman and president Narsaiah said the PDs and PETs have been contributing significantly to sports development and bringing recognition to TGSWREIS institutions at various levels. However, despite their qualifications and experience, they are not being considered for promotion as principals.
The association also demanded immediate implementation of promotions from PD Grade II to Grade I, which have been pending for a long time.
